The joint gender and ethnicity benchmark run by the Diversity campaigns at Business in the Community is a yearly two-part assessment – free to members of Opportunity Now (our gender campaign) and Race for Opportunity. It is also open to non-members. Participants benchmark against those in their sector and receive detailed and specific confidential feedback, including a banding (platinum, gold, silver or bronze status) to show where they are on their gender and/or ethnicity diversity journey. The analysis highlights strengths, weaknesses and priorities for future work and provides a strong business case for employers continue to treat diversity as business priority during difficult economic times.
The 2013 benchmark cycle is open from 14 May to 16 July. Organisations can also submit off-cycle submissions. To find out more about participation, see details on the BITC Diversity website.
