As part of the Creative Diversity Network’s national Open Newsrooms event, the leading news organisation CNN International is inviting 20 people from backgrounds that are traditionally underrepresented in the news industry to experience first-hand the exciting world of newsgathering and TV production. The participants will get involved in every aspect of how this busy 24-hour newsroom works. The team will be tasked with putting together a newscast completely from scratch. They will get a taste of writing, reporting, editing and presenting the stories that they have chosen themselves. We will provide lunch, introduce our star anchors and much more.
