[Applications have now closed for all three posts and we will be interviewing over the coming few weeks – thanks to all who have applied.]
The Creative Diversity Network (CDN) was established in 2000. It brings together broadcasters and other stakeholders to address some of the key issues of diversity in broadcast media. CDN’s membership and its reach have grown over the past decade, with current members being BAFTA, BBC, Channel 4, Creative Skillset, PACT, ITN, ITV, Media Trust, S4C, Sky, Turner Broadcasting, and Viacom (MTV/Channel 5/Comedy Central/Nickelodeon). The network has been supported to date by both a two-year rolling Chair and an external secretariat funded by its members.
The Creative Diversity Network is entering a new phase in its development and wishes to create a new model for support based around a Permanent Executive organisation. The Permanent Executive will manage the development and implementation of the CDN Strategy and be accountable to the CDN Board.
We are looking for three experienced and motivated individuals with a passion for diversity and inclusion to join our new Permanent Executive. The Permanent Executive will be made up of three permanent posts: Executive Director, Manager and Administrator. The Permanent Executive will be located initially at Creative Skillset’s office in Focus Point, 21 Caledonian Road, London N1 9GB.

Diversity & inclusion
At CDN, equality in the workplace is just a part of what we do. Whatever your age, gender, disability status, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity or family circumstances, we will make sure you’re treated with fairness and respect. We’re dedicated to offering flexible working that supports all of our colleagues, and when it comes to recruiting and retaining employees with a disability, our members have been officially recognised for their efforts.
During our application process, we’ll ask you whether you believe you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010. You don’t have to answer this question. The only reason we ask is because we want to give you the opportunity to really shine on your application form and enjoy a great over all candidate experience. And although we will monitor your response, it’s only to ensure that we’re being fair.
If you would rather speak to us in person about Diversity in recruitment, please email the team at email@example.com with your contact details and we’ll call you back.
